  31. Are you asking, "where are the INI files?"  They come with the program.
  32. The MS-DOS Kermit diskette contains them, the MSVIBM.ZIP file (which is the
  33. image of the diskette) contains them.  For C-Kermit, it depends on the
  34. OS -- UNIX, VMS, etc.  Full instructions about how to obtain binaries,
  35. source code, INI files, associated online documentation, and manuals, is on

  66. It looks as if VMS is trying to send multiple files with the same name.
  67. This normally should not happen, so I would need additional information
  68. to tell you why it is happening in this case.

  70. As you may know, VMS keeps multiple versions of the same file:
  71. X.DAT;1, X.DAT;2, X.DAT;3, etc.  But unless you instruct it otherwise,
  72. VMS C-Kermit sends only the most recent (highest-numbered) version.

  74. To get your problem solved, the best course is to collect a packet log
  75. ("log packets" makes a file called PACKET.LOG) and send it by email to
  76. kermit-support@columbia.edu.
